St Anthony's acknowledges parents and carers as each student’s most influential, primary and essential educators.
We encourage parents to be actively involved in school life and work with us to ensure the best educational outcomes for your child. Our School Community Group (SCG) meet regularly each term. The SCG's focus is to provide opportunities to build on St Anthony's strong community spirit, particularly amongst parents and families, and to find ways of supporting the school through projects such as fundraising.
Our school is focused on providing parents and carers with meaningful opportunities to be part of their child's education. We hold 'Celebration of Learning' afternoons each term where families are invited into classrooms to learn about what is happening with their child's learning. These afternoons are interactive and give parents and children opportunities to learn and have fun together.
Literacy and Numeracy Chats for Kindy and Year 1 parents occur at the end of Term 1 to update parents on their child's progress. Goals are set and parents supported in knowing how they can help their child thrive. Years 2-6 participate in Student-Led Conferences at the beginning of Term 2.
Parents are also actively encouraged to attend school events such as sports carnivals, exhibitions and performance evenings.

Volunteer and Contractor Training
We welcome the contribution volunteers make to the life of our school.
As part of our commitment to keeping students safe, all volunteers in schools are required to complete the building child safe communities undertaking form and child protection training module before volunteering. These checks reduce potential risk and forms part of our strategy to build child safe communities.
