Get Involved

Parents are significant members of the community and are invited to participate in the school community through the School Community Group, as well as through formal and informal parent groups, working bees and social activities.

Parents are invited to attend all liturgical celebrations in the school. We ask them to participate in particular aspects, such as reading or offertory processions, and we encourage them to pray with the whole school at assemblies.

Parents are invited to become involved in classroom activities, the canteen and excursions.

School Community Group

The School Community Group meet regularly each term and pray together before beginning their meeting. At these meetings parents discuss the best ways to help the school community, such as through fundraising, working bees etc.

Meetings are held on Mondays commencing at 7.30pm in the School Library/HUB:
Term 1 - 8 February and 14 March
Term 2 - 9 May and 13 June
Term 3 - 1 August
Term 4 - 24 October and 21 November

Child Protection Training

In order to volunteer, every parent helper needs to complete the Child Protection Training online module every two years. This should take approximately 20-30 minutes of your time, you can access the module via the link below. An email will be automatically sent to the school notifying us that you have completed it.
Visit the Building Child Safe Communities for Volunteers page, to access the Child Protection Training module.
